Dr. Dan Froerer is a double board-certified chiropractor. He graduated first from Utah Valley University and then completed his chiropractic education at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Dr. Froerer also has board-certified specialties in physiotherapy and medical acupuncture.
One of Dr. Dan Froerer’s specialties is active release technique (ART). Active release technique is a soft-tissue movement-based therapy that is especially effective for both accurate diagnosis and treatment of soft-tissue injuries. This technique requires extensive, specific training and can only be used by those chiropractors who have completed post-graduate training that includes written and practical exams. Active release technique can be used for repetitive injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and injuries to the rotator cuff. Dr. Froerer also successfully uses this treatment for hand conditions, sciatic pain, neck strains or sprains, foot conditions, and low back injuries.
In addition to utilizing active release therapy, Dr. Froerer also treats athletes at many levels for biomechanical issues. He works with Titleist as a Titleist Performance Institute provider. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) focuses its work on studying the mechanics of the human body vis-a-vis the golf swing. Dr. Dan Froerer works with athletes to identify dysfunction or limitations in the body by analyzing their golf swing.
Dr. Dan Froerer’s work in athletics is not restricted to professional athletes. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist who works with patients of all levels to design and implement a plan for overall conditioning. He uses strength and conditioning in concert with chiropractic care, nutrition, acupuncture, and gua sha to identify the root causes of a patient’s pain.
