Here at Pain Doctor, we are well aware of the struggles pain patients face every day. From episodic or acute pain to chronic pain, we know what it means to live with a condition that can severely impact a person’s life. While we recognize and honor the struggles that come with pain, we also like to take this time of year to count our blessings and give thanks for all of the people we work with and for.
At Pain Doctor, Thanksgiving means recognizing the work we do in the community with our valuable online coverage of news and resources on our blog and our increasing reach nationwide.
Our blog has been a vital source of information on treatments, research, and resources for those in pain and the people who love them. We work hard to provide comprehensive articles that address all aspects of pain treatment, from traditional treatments to alternative and complementary approaches.
Plus, we love helping out with solutions for everything from transitioning into the school year to entertaining over the holidays. Look for gift guides, tips on surviving the holidays with pain, and great new recipes in our regular Eat This, Not That! feature.
At Pain Doctor, Thanksgiving also means giving back to those who give so much to us: our community.
This year, we are so pleased to launch #PainDoctorCares in partnership with Arizona Pain and the Arizona Pain Foundation. This hashtag signifies our commitment to our patients and their total health. We know what it means to live with pain, and we also understand the stress that medical bills can add. We believe that National Pain Awareness shouldn’t be confined just to September. To that end, we are awarding one pain patient $5,000 towards medical bills. The contest closes on November 30, 2015, and one winner will be awarded a holiday present of $5,000 on December 23, 2015.
We also want to take a minute this Thanksgiving holiday to recognize our nationwide connection to patients and providers all across the country. We believe that pain awareness begins with raising visibility and supporting pain patients. Our patient forums and easy search tools can help connect patients with providers across the U.S. Pain patients can get vital information through our videos, and up-to-date information on conditions and treatments is just a click away.
Most of all, Pain Doctor and all of our sister sites are grateful to our patients and their loved ones this Thanksgiving.
We are honored to be a part of your pain management plan, and we have tremendous gratitude for the trust you have placed in us. We know it isn’t easy to let us be a part of some of your worst days, but we are so grateful that you want us to be there for the best ones, too.
All of our healthcare providers and office staff want you to know that we are committed to helping you get your life back. We have learned so much from our patients in terms of what it means to persevere, and we appreciate your commitment to your own health and well-being.
This Thanksgiving, we would love it if you would take a moment and share the things you are most grateful for below.
